Feature Release: Domain Whitelisting
You can now whitelist domains inside your Vidalytics account, yay!
This feature brings even more flexibility to how you can use your videos.
With whitelisting, you can select which domains (and subdomains) you want your videos to show on. This way, you can protect your content from ever being posted on sites that aren’t owned or managed by you.
Here’s how it works:
Log into your Vidalytics account, click on your name to the top right of your dashboard, and select ‘View Profile’.
Once in your profile, look under the Billing section. There, simply click on ‘Add new domain’ and enter the domain(s) you wish to whitelist.
Click on ‘Save’ and you’re good to go!
Now, there are two things I’d like to mention about this:
1. This setting is account wide, so it affects ALL the videos you have uploaded. Make sure you want to limit the websites where ALL your videos can be shown.
2. When adding a new domain to the whitelist, do NOT add http:// or https:// at the beginning, so the feature works properly.
